TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY

A topographic survey depicts the elevation of all points and features of a property, both natural and man-made. The elevation data is reported in the form of contours and/or spot elevations. The survey also includes the location and invert elevations of storm water and sanitary sewer structures on site or nearby. A topographic survey is most often required for the use by design professionals in their preparation of architectural and engineering plans for commercial or industrial developments. Occasionally, a topographic survey is requested for the design of improvements of a single residential lot when the home owner is motivated to maximize his investment.

PLS, Inc. provides topographic surveys that include all the pertinent information needed by your design professional. This results in fewer questions left unanswered as to existing conditions, allowing more time to be focused on the actual design of future improvements.
